The key piece of the EGM-DM is our unique Preparedness Assessment (PA) process. The PA is a unique framework for identifying and documenting the enterprise requirements for implementing a successful COTS EGM solution within a government department or agency, or across several departments or agencies and their respective grants programs.

• identify opportunities to align existing organization strategies and activities to take full advantage of the EGM solution, technologies and practices to be implemented;
• provide a documented basis for validating EGM specialist findings with management, discussing organization priorities and, as appropriate, developing action plans to address gaps and areas of management concern;
• contribute to maximizing the organization's return on investment resulting from the extension of the EGM solution to other grant programs and the adoption of grants management best practices;
